An article I published on proposed price increases for international students’ mandated health insurance. Changes in the university’s policy requirements would leave students with few low-cost third-party insurance plans, forcing them to either pay hundreds of dollars more or purchase the university’s equally expensive policy. The protests brought the issue to the administration’s attention and delayed implementation of the adjusted policies.
